S is for September and
Sweet peas twining on the bower;
Sleeping bees, Yellow Sunflower.
Stinging Nettles and Poppy heads
Seed to sow in new spring beds.
Stately Gladioli Spire,
Split logs stacked for winters fire.
September
(and Sparrow Hawk and Squirrel that prompted the poem!)
Where has this year gone? Spring is coming in the southern hemisphere and autumn draws nearer in the north.
Where has the year gone? That is some woodpile 😄
Still another bag to stack! 😀
Oh, how lovely. I’m not sure what happened, but it seems we are all asking this question: where did summer go? It simply flew.
It did , didn’t it! 😊
