Summer and Autumn meet in the garden, transition is all around. Hollylocks unfurl, white roses becoming red rosehips; winter’s food bank. Overnight mysteries punctuate the green, a small banquet for small creatures, before blackening, decaying, slipping back under ground. Shorter days, longer nights, a feast of stars and harvest moon. Summer’s flowers hang tattered and torn but hoping for late arrivals before the storms….
